Yalmar Antonio Zeledón Olivas and Edgard Aristo Montenegro Centeno regularly traveled by motorcycle to a telephone box to call Nicaragua and get news about the family. At approximately 6:00 in the evening, they were ambushed on the stretch of road that leads to the telephone, by men on a motorcycle carrying long range weapons.
