Leytin Ezequiel Chavarría Pérez

On July 23, 2018, Leyting Chavarría Pérez helped build barricades in the Camilo Ortega neighborhood of the city of Jinotega, which were the last ones left in the country. In the early hours of Tuesday 24, heavily armed police officers and paramilitary groups entered the neighborhood to knock down and clear the barricades.
