Danny Ezequiel López Morales
On July 5, 2018, the government implemented “Operation Clean-Up” in the city of León’s Sutiaba neighborhood, attacking the independent anti-government protesters there with firearms. Danny Ezequiel López Morales was riding his bike toward one of the barricades when he was hit in the abdomen by an AK-47 round. He was taken to the Sutiaba health center, but did not receive any medical attention and died.
