“He did whatever work came to him. He never said, ‘I can’t do it.’ He always took risks,” recalls his mother. Bryan was happy, had lots of friends in the barrio, and if he could help someone out, he did. “That’s how I want him to be remembered, as a happy person, a fighter, a worker. I think that he would also like his friends to remember him as he was… He always kept going. Nothing got in his way,” says doña Marina, Bryan’s mother.
