He was also very loved by his paternal grandfather, who took care of him when Nelson worked. They called him “Titi” and “Little blacky.” His favorite toys were a blue car that he rode in, his stuffed animals, a battery-run car, and a plastic mortar launcher that he’d received as a gift.
